Our workshops are designed to help international graduate students enhance professional communication skills in English. Customized workshops for FSU departments are available upon request. We’re happy to create a workshop to meet the needs of graduate students in your department. Workshops focus on either written or spoken communication with special emphasis on English language and US cultural features that will support multilingual and/or international students. Workshops provide an interactive space where students can ask questions, practice skills, and receive feedback. We can work with you to create customized workshops for students in your program. Our pronunciation workshops can be eye-opening for students. Most English language training does not include specific pronunciation practice. Discovering the patterns that create the rhythm of US English can help students listen and speak with confidence.
